We have recently had some fantastic parent reviews of our setting.
Acklam – My son has been back and forth to Acklam Day Nursery. This is the only nursery my son will settle at and it’s no surprise why. The staff are amazing with the children. They have a real care for each child’s overall development and well being. They’ve been outstanding supporting my son through difficulties and also supporting me, which with a very active toddler makes you feel more sane. I would 100% recommend Acklam Day nursery will be an emotional day when my son has to leave.
Billingham – My 2 children joined this nursery last year as theirs closed due to financial difficulties during coronavirus. The staff have been amazing at welcoming them and settling them in. They are caring and supportive, even more flexible with dates and accomodating for my children so I can work. Also, they have accommodated well to my daughter’s needs as she has a milk protein allergy yet she still has the same as other children but with adapted recipes with her milk. I have been overjoyed to see my children happy and well and can go to work carefree knowing they are safe and looked after
Marton – Absolutely fantastic nursery. All the staff are lovely, welcoming and really care about the children. My son has attended since the age of 1 (now 3) and my daughter will be starting next month. The only place I trust to take care of my children while I’m at work. Highly recommended.
The manager of the nursery replied to the million questions, offered the tour in the nursery to give me a chance to be sure that my child is in the right place.
We made the right decision because I see every day my happy child running to the nannies. Step by step my daughter learns new words and songs.
Important to mention that we moved recently and my daughter couldn’t speak English. I was surprised when I heard new English words from my child in 2-weeks.

Outstanding praise was given in all areas of the inspection and the report reflects upon the exceptional standards within the nursery and states that children learn the skills they need for their future learning and are extremely well prepared in readiness for school.
The inspector commented that the quality of teaching, learning and assessment is outstanding and staff have excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and in their role in promoting children’s learning within the nursery. The report also comments on the excellent and robust tracking systems in place that help all staff to identify gaps in learning and implement highly successful strategies to enable all children to thrive and reach their full potential and are making rapid progress in their learning and development. This is backed up by the nursery being lead and managed by Kat Lovell-Spencer who is very proactive in leading, supporting and motivating staff to meet the needs of all children who attend.
